Ever since Art Matthews received his law degree from the University of Southern California in 1989, he has enjoyed the challenge of the law and helping his clients. Practicing law for over 20 years, Mr. Matthews has assisted individuals and businesses with matters relating to employment litigation, fraud, bankruptcy, real estate litigation, foreclosures, business litigation, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, LLC and LLP disputes, shareholder disputes, partnership disputes, mediation, and commercial landlord tenant disputes.

Before founding The Matthews Law Firm, Inc., in 2007, Mr. Matthews was a partner and practicing lawyer at Burnett and Matthews LLP. While The Matthews Law Firm, Inc., is located in Costa Mesa, CA, and Mr. Matthews practices in Southern California, he has also been licensed to practice in New York since 2005 and The District of Columbia since 2004.

What has continued to drive Mr. Matthews towards success for his clients is his belief in their causes.
